The location is magic the food is superb and the service really good, rooms are ok but a bit outdated.
What a welcoming and well-appointed hotel - sign me up for next year!!
Reception and staff went above and beyond the call of duty - allowed us to modify our booking and bump it a few days early with no problem, and even drop our car in their staff parking for a couple of nights while we hiked to other villages. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, and resto service was efficient and friendly, the spa is heavenly after a day on the trails, and breakfast was generous. Thank you to staff at La Truite Dorée.
This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and our experience was just as warm and welcoming as ever. We look forward to our next visit. Comfortable room (disabled facilities), wonderful welcome and food - the breakfast is particularly to be recommended. Very good value for money and we left feeling warm and rosy!
Ordered beef and it was below minimum standards for edibility, and very expensive.
A good family run hotel and restaurant with welcoming staff and a good menu in the restaurant. Definitely worth stopping for lunch, with a set price weekday menu. Recommended.

Excellent food, very friendly staff, good service, even when busy. A lovely traditional French hotel restaurant which I would recommend.
Comfortable hotel with very efficient and pleasant staff. The food holds to a high standard, providing traditional french cuisine without being over-elaborate. The buildings and grounds are beautifully maintained; 25 years of eating at or staying at this family-run establishment has to be an indicator of its quality.
